We're going to be on TV!

As we headed back to France for the final signing, we met up with Chris and Harry from Channel 4's Château DIY series.

This was a whole new experience for us, but over two days they made us feel at ease, shot footage of the château, had us walking around lovely Bergerac and finally on the day of the not-signing, us getting the keys and inspecting what we hadn't just bought!

Yes you guessed it, yet another delay in the completion of the purchase, and we left France a few days later still not being owners. But that's another story to come!

So to Chris' often asked question "how are you feeling?" Well a bit frustrated, but it's getting closer (hopefully!)

With the filming in the bag, and now part of the Château DIY family, we should be appearing in episodes to be broadcast sometime in 2026, and look forward to welcoming the team back as they follow our progress in bringing the estate back to life.
